Information and Inspiration
Information and Inspiration Do you know how when you take on a new project around your home like cleaning out a closet, painting a bedroom, or planting flowers, all the other jobs such as cooking dinner, doing dishes or vacuuming still have to be done and you can feel happy that you’ve accomplished something new but overwhelmed because your laundry is sprawled over a bed or bureau? Spreading the Love
Spreading the Love Caloosahatchee River bridge Valentine’s Day is on its way! I say let’s spread the love to everyone. Let’s make the holiday more than loving just our immediate family. I yelled something along the lines of “What are you doing?” He grabbed me by the neck and closed the door behind him. He told me he had a gun and a knife in his backpack…

Be Conscious of Your Treasures
“We can only be said to be alive when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” Thornton Wilder One of the things I love best about being around children is that they are almost always happy. They wake every day with the intention of happiness and the excitement of a new day. They see the world in a different light than adults. Where adults see responsibilities children see opportunities. Where adults want to try to control their entire universe–a child’s existence is mostly controlled by others yet they still have a sense of freedom. Perhaps children are so alive with life because they are conscious of their treasures. Whether that…
