Arielle and I watched Freedom Writers. What an amazing story! Hope is the candle within all of us. For some, life’s darkness distinguishes the flame. That’s when it’s up to the rest of us to notice and not walk away or accept it but have the courage to offer hope. Just as one candle can be lit from another and another never detracting from the first but creating great light–so must we offer a flame of hope to those who exist in the dark.
