    Fall Recipes

It’s my favorite time of year! Soon I’ll be able to turn off the air-conditioning and open up the house. I have my K-Cup pumpkin spice coffee and hot apple cider. My pumpkin candles are already burning. Now, I just need to find more fall recipes on Pinterest and begin baking and sharing. Meanwhile, here are some blast from the past recipes I love.   Apple Crisp  Pumpkin Pie Bites Pumpkin Bread Pudding Topped With Caramel Halloween Owl Cookies Jalapeño Grilled Cheese Chili Lava Cake Chocolate cake with a candy corn filling

    Apple Crisp

When I was little my grandmother made warm apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It’s the perfect dessert for a cool fall evening. Here’s hoping we have one of those soon here in Florida. Apple crisp is easy to make. Peel and slice six to eight apples. Pour 1/2 cup water over the apples. Make the crisp. 1 Cup sugar 3/4 Cup flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon 7 Tablespoons butter Mix until it’s crumbly and then spread it over the apples. I made individual ramekins. Just cause I thought it would be cute. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Let it cool for fifteen minutes and serve warm. Delicious!
