Apple Crisp

When I was little my grandmother made warm apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It’s the perfect dessert for a cool fall evening. Here’s hoping we have one of those soon here in Florida.

Apple crisp is easy to make. Peel and slice six to eight apples.

Pour 1/2 cup water over the apples.

Make the crisp.

  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 3/4 Cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 7 Tablespoons butter

Mix until it’s crumbly and then spread it over the apples.

I made individual ramekins. Just cause I thought it would be cute.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Let it cool for fifteen minutes and serve warm.

Delicious!
