Teaching Positive Self-Talk
A new She Said, He Said post is coming next week. Eric needed some time off. He told me writing was hard work. I said, “Welcome to my world.” He said, “I hate your world.” I laughed. Are you teaching your child to live in shame?
For the past two days I’ve had no voice. I woke up and it was gone followed by my energy level. My first reaction was to fight it. There’s too much to get done! Honor The Ordinary
I love traveling especially to other countries where everything is different. After a few months at home I feel the pull to plan an adventure whether it’s a weekend trip or overseas. Getting away from my daily routine helps me see my world more clearly. However, since my daughter has gone away to college, I have a new appreciation for our ordinary days together. All of us at the dinner table or riding in the car, those are the moments I once took for granted.
