Buddy and The Dog Beach Who knew going to the dog beach could be so much fun! Here’s our latest Buddy adventure! Where are we going? Is that the beach? Bring on the Gulf of Mexico! Um…I really don’t think I need to swim. Someone play the theme to Chariots of Fire–I’m running! Houston we have a problem. Sand and slobber don’t mix. Wait I have an idea! Much better! Wisdom Wednesday: Music
Music is my life, it is a refection of what I go through. Lenny Kravitz It’s amazing how a song can immediately lift my spirit or take me back in time to when I spent mornings in front of the mirror with a curling iron and spray seeing just how big my hair could be. Wisdom Wednesday: Hope
Welcome to my Wisdom Wednesday posts. HOPE Once you choose hope, anything is possible. Christopher Reeve Arielle and I watched Freedom Writers. What an amazing story! Hope is the candle within all of us. For some, life’s darkness distinguishes the flame. That’s when it’s up to the rest of us to notice and not walk away or accept it but have the courage to offer hope. Just as one candle can be lit from another and another never detracting from the first but creating great light–so must we offer a flame of hope to those who exist in the dark. Hope is that thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words…
