    Searching for Silver Linings

I’m curled up in bed. The room is dark. Pain radiates from my temples down my neck. My mind races telling me my to-do list gets longer every hour I shut-out the world. It’s wasted time, and I should fight to keep going. Finally, I drift off to sleep, and if I’m really lucky, the medicine takes effect so when I wake I’m pain-free.

What’s Your Major? What’s Your Plan?

Thank you to everyone who shared in the Random Acts of Kindness Day. This year my family participated which made it extra special. Realizing how easy it is to make someone’s day through even just my words has helped me understand the significant difference kindness can make. Try it. Give someone a detailed compliment and watch their face. Your spirit will lift with theirs.
